Getting started
Your first sign-in as a teammate
The short set-up an invited teammate goes through, and the guided tour you can take again any time.
# Your first sign-in as a teammate When someone invites you, your first sign-in opens a short set-up. It takes a few minutes, and you can leave it at any point with **Skip for Now**. Your place is saved, so if you stop and sign in again, on this device or another, you pick up where you left off. Skipping is saved too, so it won't ask again. ## The five steps 1. **Welcome.** Who invited you, how many documents the brain can already answer from, the apps it reads, and the departments you can see. 2. **About You.** Your photo, your name, your role and what your day looks like, the same things on [your profile](https://docs.skilltreeos.ai/people-and-access/your-profile/). You can skip this and fill it in later. 3. **Your Apps.** Connect your own Gmail and Google Calendar. These connections are yours alone: you choose what they read, and your colleagues never see it. If your admin has not turned one on, it says so. See [Google Workspace](https://docs.skilltreeos.ai/connected-apps/google-workspace/). 4. **Your Team.** The agents you can use. An admin who was invited also sees the starter packs, with **Add a Starter Pack**. 5. **Your First Win.** One question picked from your job title, what you said you do, or the department you can see. **Ask This Now** starts a real chat with it. **Take the Tour** goes to the map instead. ## The guided tour The tour points out the real parts of the app, one at a time: the map, the ask box and your recent chats, the **/** picker, Chats and your team, Dashboards, Files, Integrations and search. Each stop says what it is for and how far through you are. It starts by itself the first time you land on the map after your set-up. If you skip the set-up, it doesn't. Once you finish or skip the tour it won't start by itself again, on any device. To take it again, open your account menu and choose **Replay Tour**, or press **Cmd+K** (**Ctrl+K** off a Mac) and choose **Take the Tour**. It brings you back to where you started. You can run the whole tour from the keyboard: the right arrow or Enter moves on, the left arrow goes back, and Escape skips it. On a phone the words sit in a sheet along the edge of the screen.
